Traz: So what are you going into?
Me: Theatre and Speech Education with a History Education minor.
Traz: Cool. So you want to be a teacher?
Me: Yeah. What are you going into?
Traz: Computer Engineering.
Me: Oh really? What do you want to do with that?
Traz: *smiles* Build robots and take over the world.....
Me: *laughs* (Thinking: Oh no...this guy is a complete dork, and a nerd, and probably REALLY awkward to take out in public...)
[yeah...I really thought that]
Due to various Church activities that day, Traz and I ran into eachother a lot. He was actually trying to sit next to me for this big meeting, but lost me in the crowd. We bumped into eachother at a rootbeer float party being held in the apartment above mine. We talked some more, getting to know one another better. Traz, hearing that I liked to sing, invited me to go stadium singing with him. (That's when a bunch of people go under the football field bleachers and sing hymns. It's a lot of fun!) Now this was the moment, we later realized, that if I had said "no" then Traz would have moved onto a different girl and we probably would have never dated and gotten married. I was considering saying no too, because I had been hurt a lot earlier in the year from past relationships. Then a little thought came into my head saying, "What's the worst that can happen?"
So I said...."Sure!"
And the rest....

...is history.
(By "History" I mean that Traz and I dated, he proposed to me in December at Disneyland and then we got married April 15th, 2011)
